Vday.

We had a sweet little Vday this year. We had dinner at Casbah-one of our favorites-on Saturday since it's downtown and too crazy to get to on a weekday. It was delish as usual, and my Valentine was pretty perfect himself. 

 On the day I grabbed us cute chickfila heart biscuits to start out our morning, snacked on chocolate covered strawberries from L, got a mani/pedi, and made us some sugar cookies. 

 Before L got home I got his little gift ready and one for the pups. Oh and I found the cutest heart balloons at target for $2 for a big pack, and tied them to back of our chairs. They are still there and still making me happy.:) Ahh and my necklace!! The man knows how to give a gift. I mean really he just knows how to check his email and see all of the things "a friend" sent him, but whatever works. 

 That night we just kept it simple and went to an early happy hour and then to see Safe House. Simple simple, but that's how we like it! No pressure on this day anymore and it's so perfect that way. Just another day we get to do a little something sweet for each other. Love you LB! Muah! 

 And thank you to my momma and dad for still sending us Vday treats! Candies and gift cards and treats for the pups were so appreciated this year!! Happy Vday!!:))

 -I should really stop saying I'm going to be good at posting and then immediately suck at posting.

 -husband cleaned the whole apt for me this weekend even though it is totally my agreed upon "job" at this point in our lives. Keeper. 

-saw one for the money on Saturday w Gretchen and came back out to find this note on my car. I'm just going to take a wild guess and say they did it bc of the Texas stickers and license plates. 

 -I love target. That is all. 

-please tell me how I ordered Valentine cards at least 2 weeks ago, and have had them addressed just as long, yet STILL haven't mailed them. gah get it together!

-Superbowl Sunday we kinddd of watched the game. But mainly loved on our puppies. Oh and ate snacks. Queso, apple chips, pigs in a blanket, and crock pot buffalo chicken sandwiches. 

-found a fro-yo shop in Pittsburgh's fancyyy mall Monday. 

-bit the bullet and bought this. Total impulse purchase even though I've been wanting it for foreverrr and hear nothing but good things about it. So far I'm loving it! the man likes it too.

 -when buying the above, I was given a sample of this. Someone please tell me that price is wrong bc if so I basically just got free gold cream to put on my face.

-these make everyday worth living. not even joking...

-Chick-fil-a has special heart shaped biscuits for Valentine's day! be still my chick-fil-a loving heart.

Oh hello February.

What a sweet little month you are. You've already brought us these--which I will be snagging as soon as my little self can make it to the mall-- and I can only see good times from here. Soon you will be full of hearts and chocolates and flowers. I love this month. 

 With 2 weeks until Vday, I have been scouring pinterest for fun ideas and gifts to make it extra sweet. 

 Must make these for husband.

 I'm thinking with this recipe for the cupcakes. Hershey kiss in a cupcake??? Can't go wrong. 

 Heart garland and maybe a cupcake wrapper wreath are sure to get us in the spirit right?? Need to make a hobby lobby trip.

 I have decided I need Cupid to bring me this. Too cute for words.

 I don't know what to get husband this year. He never wants anything, and doesn't really care about this heart filled holiday, but humors me. Any ideas??

For sure he is getting this with his morning coffee before work.
